Beautiful aromas of ripe quince, dried fruit, raisins a hint and of honey and wild flowers. The balance between richness and complexity is clear as the wine dries out half way across the palate and finishes with an amazing 'rancio' nutty finish that lingers for minutes. This wine is not overly sweet and due to the wonderful aged backstocks that Andresen possess they achieve complexity through the addition of very old parcels rather than using younger less complex wines to achieve the average of 10 years.
