Chardonnay has a beautiful bouquet of floral and citrus that really draws you into the glass. In the mouth, there is bright lemon, grapefruit, nectarine, and a hint of mint. The malolactic fermentation was introduced during the primary fermentation, so we minimized the buttery flavors. Only, 20% of the wine was treated in French oak for 3 months. We describe it as kissed with oak. The hero here is the fruit and floral quality that makes for a beautiful wine to be enjoyed chilled and with food.
