A deep garnet red this wine has a very bright appearance complemented by a vibrant and lifted nose packed with cherry, plum, raspberries and a typical sage or dried herb character. Mid weight on the palate there are more red berries and some complex toasty notes from spicy oak with again the dried herb or sage notes. Tannins are silky and soft in keeping with concentrated and fleshy structure and the finish is long and clean.
